About Me

These are my people (and my dog). These beautiful people are the reason I do what I do. I have a full-time job. I have two kids...a husband...a dog, two cats, 5 chickens and a few rats. I am busy. But I have a passion for photography and I am lucky enough that they support me in this portion of my career. They put up with long nights of editing and weekends filled with photo shoots so that I can have my creative outlet and for that I am thankful.

My Photography Background

I graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Photography. At that age I had no idea how I could use my passion and education to make a living. I stayed doing what I was doing - website design and marketing - and made a career out of that. But the passion for photography never went away. I started setting up backdrops in my kitchen and shooting photos of kids and families that I knew. That eventually grew into a family friend asking me if I would try wedding photography. I gave it a try back in 2008 and fell in love with it. I have now shot over 100 weddings in every location from on a boat on Lake Geneva to a backyard in Delafield. Every one of those weddings are unique and I am honored to have been a part of each and every one of them.

Don't Shoot!

I hate being on the front side of the camera and will often tell people not to shoot photos of me. But I do love shooting you and your beautiful memories and if you hate having your photo taken, I understand. My goal is to make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera that you forget that we're shooting. I always shoot to have fun and make you look your absolute best.
