Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, so you want to make sure everything is perfect. Choosing the right wedding photographer is crucial to ensuring that your special day is captured just the way you’ve always dreamed it would be. I hope that I am that photographer for you - but if I am not, that's okay too. I want you to find someone that is a great fit.
FAQ
Do you stop taking pictures once you reach a specific number?
No. The number of wedding photos is completely up to what is happening at the wedding. The more action a wedding has, the more photos that will be taken. Most 8 hour weddings end up with 500+ images to choose from. Photos will be taken from start to finish no matter what.
Will there be a second shooter?
I do not have a second shooter at this time. If this is something you are interested in having, please let me know and we can see if we can work something out.
Can I meet with you before the wedding?
Absolutely! In fact, I strongly recommend it. If possible we will set up an in-person meeting, or we can set up a virtual meeting at a convenient time.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot with a Canon R6 mirrorless camera with a wide range of different lenses. I also have a 7D as my backup camera.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No. You have full rights to all of your images. You can print them as you wish. The only thing I ask you is that you do not edit them and if you post them publically, a shout out to Kelly Mottl Photography would be appreciated.
Is photography your main business?
No. I have a strong design and marketing background so I do that as my full-time job. This design background has helped me tremendously with my photography - especially when it comes to editing photos. I did graduate from Carroll College with a Bachelor's degree in Photography and have been shooting part time since 2002.
What makes you different from other photographers?
My experience and customer service set me apart from the others. I have been shooting weddings regularly for more than 15 years and that allows me to know many details about shooting and details of the day that others simply wouldn't have with less experience.
