About Me

Talking about myself is never easy. Photography is not my full-time job. I do it for fun and to keep my creativity alive. I have two kids…a husband…a dog, two cats, 5 chickens and a few rats. I have a passion for photography and I am lucky enough that my family supports me in this portion of my career. They put up with long nights of editing and weekends filled with photo shoots so that I can have my creative outlet. What more can I ask for?

My Photography Background

I graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography. At that age I had no idea how I could use my passion and education to make a living. I stayed doing what I was doing – website design and marketing – and made a career out of that. But the passion for photography never went away. I started setting up backdrops in my kitchen and shooting photos of kids and families that I knew. That eventually grew into a family friend asking me if I would try wedding photography. I gave it a try back in 2008 and fell in love with it. I have now shot over 100 weddings in every location from on a boat on Lake Geneva to a backyard in Delafield. Every one of those weddings are unique and I am honored to have been a part of each and every one of them.
